Bigscreen Unveils Exclusive ‘VRChat Edition’ of Beyond 2e PC VR Headset, Launching in September

So, Bigscreen has this new thing. It’s like they’ve whipped up a ‘VRChat Edition’ of their Beyond 2e headset. You know, for those who are basically living (and maybe sleeping?) in VRChat.

First bunch of these goodies – the Beyond 2s – got out the door just a bit ago. Regular version and the fancy eye-tracking version, Beyond 2e. Anyway, back to this VRChat Edition — they’re saying it’ll start dropping into folks’ hands by September 2025. Or so they hope.

Specs-wise, nothing mind-blowing or whatever. Basically the same as standard Beyond 2e — eye-tracking and all. It’s got these micro-OLED things, 2,560 x 2,560 res, sounds sci-fi, right? Oh, and those new pancake lenses. Feels like you’re wearing nothing at all, weighing in at just 107g. Crazy light.

And guess what — it’s gonna cost ya. Pre-orders are $1,269. Yeah, it’s $50 more than the regular, but hold up! You’re getting that cool Atomic Purple shell. And, they’re saying something about hand-drawn artwork on the box — makes it sound like an art piece or something.

Heads up though, you need a killer VR-ready PC. Plus, those SteamVR base stations and all the controllers? Mandatory! Maybe not the most plug-and-play setup, honestly. Body tracking? Sure, if you’re into that.

Oh, and if you’re into virtual bling — like stickers, badges — you get some VRChat exclusives with the purchase. And in the future, there might be secret goodies dropping randomly. Keep your eyes peeled. You could strike gold.
