The new soccer RPG we’ve all been hyped about? Yeah, it’s hitting a bit of a snag. Instead of dropping on August 21 like they said, we’re looking at a delay—it’s around three months. Why? Well, they say it’s about needing more time for voice recordings, some fancy localizations, and a bunch of other stuff. You’d think they’re making sure everyone’s happy no matter where you’re playing from. Fair play, I guess.
Here’s where it gets kind of funny. They threw a 14-minute vid up on the Level-5 JP YouTube channel. I stumbled across it, and it dives into why they’re holding off. I watched it—or, well, most of it. There’s a bit in there about needing more time to work out the kinks. But then again, who can say no to more polished voice acting? I wonder if they’re just being extra picky or something. Anyway—no wait, what was I saying?
Right, the delay. It’s frustrating, yeah, but hey, if a tiny wait makes it epic, then maybe it’s worth keeping our chill. Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is still making its way to PS5, PS4, Switch (both old and new), Xbox Series… and Steam for all the PC folks out there.
So, chime in—are you bummed it’s now November 13 for the big day? Or less worried after hearing what they had to say in the video? Hit me up with your thoughts!
