Oh man, Prime Day wrapping up already? Feels like it just started—time flies, right? Anyway, if you’re into VR gaming, today’s like the last call at the bar. Amazon’s got this Quest 3S thing going, and I can almost hear my wallet crying, but maybe that’s just me.
Launched last October, they say, the Quest 3S is usually 300 bucks for 128 gigs, 400 for 256 gigs. And sure, it’s kinda chunky compared to the Quest 3, but hey, that’s part of its charm. Well, sort of. Now with the sale, it’s down to $250 and $330. Not a huge drop, but every penny counts when you’re as broke as I am.
Speaking of deals, they’ve got this 128 gig version bundled with something about Gorilla Tag? Never played it, but sounds wild. You get some shiny rocks too. Sounds sparkly. Meanwhile, the big 256 gig one throws in a Batman game—Arkham Shadow or whatever—and both versions get it, so that’s nice.
Accessories? Oh boy, they’re offering straps and cables and cases—what a party, huh? But you might spend the same amount if you buy separate, which kinda feels like a trick. Like those puzzles that are supposed to be fun but just leave you confused.
And by the way, Black Friday had better deals last November, so if you’re a deal nerd, that was the jackpot. Prime Day’s still decent though if you wanna dive into VR worlds like Asgard’s Wrath 2 or Half-Life: Alyx. Heard Skyrim VR is fun too, but I’d probably get lost in there.
If you’re still pondering over this, there’s a review somewhere—dig it up. Apparently, even at 300 bucks, it’s like finding a rare gem or something. But, you know, I’d still think twice—impulse buys and all that. Alright, that’s my two cents before the clock strikes midnight or whatever. Cheers and happy splurging!
