Hey, so, I stumbled upon some Diablo 4 patch notes the other day. Not sure why I’m writing about it, but let’s just dive in. Anyway, if you haven’t heard, they’re rolling out this update soon. Like July 15th soon. It’s all about beefing up those classes – all six of ’em. And trust me, there’s more stuff, like bug fixes. Yep, those pesky glitches. Plus, they’re making life a bit easier for folks diving into this Sins of the Horadrim thing. Sounds intense, right?
Didn’t quite catch when Season 9 kicked off – I think it was July 1st? Apparently, it’s all about these Horadrim folks and some fella named Astaroth. Spooky. They tossed in some new spells and, get this, “Strongrooms.” (Not entirely sure what those are, but cool name.)
Guess what? The new update’s got all sorts of class buffs. Every class gets love, but the Barbarians? Oh man, they’re practically on steroids with like double the buffs. Imagine the damage they’ll dish out. Good for them, I suppose.
And speaking of making stuff better – the Horadric doohickeys will auto-collect now. Saves you a click, right? And if you’re hunting stones in The Pit (sounds grim), you’ll nab more of ’em. Score!
Bug fixes? Tons. Like really, a lot. From quests being weird to enemies hiding out when they shouldn’t (Looking at you, Treasure Goblins). They even decided Astaroth’s lines should be less… whispery? Yeah, let’s hear the dude!
Oh, and big news if you’re into watching other folks play: Catch three hours of Diablo 4 on Twitch and bam! A new shiny Glensoul Arbalest crossbow for your Rogue. Fancy! But remember, this little promotion’s only until July 19 at 10 AM. So, mark those calendars or, you know, set an alarm.
Now, if you’re still hanging with me here, let’s talk patches. It’s like tech speak for “we fixed stuff and boosted numbers.” There’s one for the Spiritborn, making damage juicier. And get this, Barbarians got a bunch of damage tweaks. Everything from their Battle Trance to their Whirlwind is hitting harder.
Druids aren’t left out! Their magic smashy attack – Pulverize – now more… pulverize-y. Again, not sure why but it’s all about those numbers. Necros, Rogues, Sorcerers – all touched by the magic update wand.
And what’s with these Nightmare Dungeons? Sounds like that recurring dream where you’re falling but there’s no ground?
Alright, before I go off the rails – last bits: Get grinding. Updates are vast and varied, from balance twinks to interface adjustments, and even some miscellaneous polish. Heartfelt fixes like that voice line thing (shoutout to Astaroth’s newfound audibility).
That’s the chaotic rundown from a not-so-chaotic game world. Enjoy!
