Hey, so, Resolute Games is doing this wild thing with a crowdfunding campaign. It’s for this VRMMO called Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist. No clue why, but it feels like everyone’s throwing cash at them. They just zipped past the $100,000 mark, and honestly, it’s like they’re on a crazy treadmill with no off button.
Okay, so they kicked off this ride on June 24th. And it’s got this vibe of trying to bring back the whole Orbus VR feeling, you know? Remember Orbus VR? Well, same. Resolute Games is like the phoenix from those ashes or something. What’s bananas is, they smashed through their initial goal of 25 grand in, like, 1.5 hours. Not even two hours, seriously.
But, let me pause here. Isn’t $25,000 a bit tiny for what they’re dreaming up? I mean, they’re talking about classes, quests, magic (yes, real digital magic), fighting styles, guilds, the whole enchilada. Plus, crafting and cooking. Maybe they’re building a VR kitchen, too?
So, before this whirlwind started, this Lynn M. Souza, head honcho at Resolute, mentioned something about aiming for the same starting point as Zenith. It’s all chess moves, right? Get a win fast and then rake in more bucks. I get it. Or maybe I don’t.
There’s more though—brace yourself for a brain dump. They’re teasing all these extras like healing bonfires (kind of cozy, yet fiery), Earth and Air magic moves, new species or something playable, and guest access for players’ cribs. And they have pets coming up—like, useful pets. They’re supposed to help out, not just be fluffy distractions. Who dreamt that up?
Eldramoor’s supposedly making its grand appearance on Quest 3 and SteamVR, but not until late 2026. Feels like forever. Right now though, this campaign thingy wraps up on July 24th. That’s three more weeks to pull in the undecided. If you’re curious or itching to back them, dive into the Kickstarter. Or don’t. Your call.
