Alright, so there I was, right? Wandering around Comic Con Manchester, probably thinking about grabbing a snack or something, when I stumbled upon this scene. Matt Ryan — yeah, the guy from Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. He does this thing, drops some sort of hint about maybe a remake or remaster of the game. Imagine that!
And then… chaos. Or, something like it. Someone nabbed a video of Matt spilling these secrets, like whispering secrets in the wind — only this time, the wind was a TikTok user named kylo_hd659. They catch everything on their phone. Gotta love tech these days.
Matt’s like, “Uh-oh,” probably had that deer-in-the-headlights moment when he realized he’d been recorded. Ubisoft, it seems, wasn’t thrilled. Nope. Word on the street is they sorta, kinda waved around the big scary legal stick about suing him. Classic drama, right?
He points at the camera — finally noticing it, I guess? Maybe it’s like his way of saying, “Hey folks, mum’s the word now!” But hey, if you want someone to zip it, getting them in legal trouble might do the trick.
It got me thinking, how often does stuff like this slip out when it shouldn’t? Anyway, back to Ryan! Outside of potential pirate escapades, he’s been all over the DC Comics scene, playing John Constantine, the guy with the trench coat and magic spells. If James Gunn is reading this — doubt it, but still — you should totally bring him back in those new movies. Just saying.
And yeah, if Ubisoft gives us a heads-up, I’ll keep you posted. Or not. Who knows what’ll happen next in this wacky saga?
