Oh wow, so Resolute Games did this Kickstarter thing for their VR game, Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist. And guess what? They totally hauled in more than $170,000. It’s like, cha-ching! The whole deal kicked off on June 24th, and bam! In just, what, an hour and a half? They hit their $25,000 initial goal. Talk about a shocker.
A few days later, maybe a week? Who’s counting, right? They smashed through $100,000. And it’s not like they stopped there. They unlocked all these extra goodies like some bonfire system, more spells or whatever—air and earth, I think they said. Oh, and there’re new species too. Sounds wild, doesn’t it? Pets got abilities now, so that’s a thing.
Eldramoor’s got big dreams. Like, they’re promising this huge world with all these different places to explore. I’m talking biomes or zones or whatever they call them. Five of them, I think? Each one way different from the next. They’re saying if you just stick to the main paths, you’ll miss half the fun. So maybe wander off the beaten track sometimes? No clue. Meander around, fight monsters, collect loot—sounds like adventure central.
Anyway—oops, lost my track—Resolute Games describes it like some paradise for social butterflies. You can join guilds, run dungeons, show off in PvP battles. And special events? They’ve got those covered. Everything screams multiplayer, like you’re supposed to drag your buddies in for the whole experience. Trade stuff, stack powerups, gather around campfires—reminds me of summer camp. Sort of. But way more digital.
With such madness, you’d think they need mountains of cash right away. Or not? They’re probably chatting with outside investors too. Makes sense, getting ready for the big launch next year, you know? Keeping that “massive” in VRMMO isn’t cheap, I bet.
So, mark your calendar or whatever, they’re aiming to release in December 2026. That’s, uh, a bit of a wait, but it’ll be on Quest 3 and SteamVR when it finally drops. Wanna dive deeper? They’ve got a Steam page and all those Kickstarter updates you can peek at. Just saying.
