Fans responded warmly to Murray’s tweet, praising the developer’s determination and even dubbing the game’s revival “the greatest redemption arc of all time.”

No Man’s Sky continues to receive acclaim and increased player engagement. Although it hasn’t reached the dizzying player numbers seen at the time of its launch, with a record high of 212,000 concurrent players, recent updates have successfully drawn significant attention. The game’s most recent player peak occurred shortly after the release of the Worlds Part 1 Update on July 22, attracting nearly 55,000 concurrent players.
