Oh wow, so there was this big Honkai: Star Rail livestream earlier today. Right on cue, they told us about new stuff coming in version 3.4. You know how everyone just can’t wait to see new characters? Yeah, same story here.
So anyway, the big reveal? There’s this collab with Fate/stay night coming up. They teased it back in August last year—like, ages ago, right?—but the wait is almost over. Finally, it’s happening.
Now, if you’re into the Fate series, this is for you. We’re talking about Saber and Archer making their grand entrance. Saber’s going to be this fancy 5-Star Wind/Destruction powerhouse with her own banner (of course), and Archer? Well, everyone logging in during the collab gets him. How cool is that? And they’ll stick around longer than the usual, from Version 3.4 to about November-ish when we hit Version 3.6.
Oh! And Phainon—who’s been hanging around since Version 3.0—finally gets his moment. He’s joining the playable roster as a 5-Star. I swear, he’s been waiting forever. But yeah, he’s got this Physical/Destruction thing going on.
Six rerun banners are also coming our way. Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle in Phase 1, and later we’ll see Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade in Phase 2. It’s jam-packed, but hey, no new characters in the second phase—to be fair, there’s already so much going on, right?
Ah, can’t forget the Stellaron Hunters! Yep, they’re getting some sweet upgrades. Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade are getting boosted battle mechanics and Eidolon effects. Plus, Firefly’s getting a new outfit, and maybe a boost for Jingliu too. Guess we’ll see if she’s joining that whole mercenary vibe. Could be neat.
Mark your calendars because Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 drops on July 2nd, transitioning to the second banner phase by July 23rd. Who’s hyped?
Oh, and let’s rewind to May for a sec. The 3.3 version brought Hyacine into the mix, right? Plus, The Herta made a comeback. They also threw in Cipher with the second phase. Oh boy, and then there was this whole deal with the voice actor recasting. It’s got ties to the SAG-AFTRA action, and they’re working things out now, but how it affects characters like Dan Heng and Himeko? Who knows. Wild times.
