VR Shooter ‘Forefront’ Launches Open Alpha Featuring 16 vs. 16 Multiplayer Battles

So, Forefront. Here’s the thing: it’s like they mashed up Battlefield vibes with a VR twist, and my mind just went, “Whoa, 16 vs. 16? In VR?” Like, I’m trying to imagine the chaos. Vehicles zooming — tanks, helicopters, the whole shebang — and it’s coming to Quest and Steam. Triangle Factory (they did Breachers, which was a blast) is behind all this, so I guess the guns will feel legit, hopefully.

Anyways, they just dropped an open alpha — no heads-up or anything — and it’s live for 24 hours. Plus, it’s up again from August 15-17. I got sidetracked thinking, “Do I even have time?” But the FOMO is real. Seriously, can’t miss this one. They’ve got sign-ups over on their Discord, so if you’re into it, that’s the spot to be.

Oh, and it’s coming to a whole bunch of headsets like the Quest 2, 3, and even the 3S. Feels like this could be a game-changer, or at least a fun ride. At least, that’s what I’m hoping. Or maybe I just like the idea of a VR world where I can drive a tank. Who knows.
