Okay, let’s see if I can tackle this. Not sure why I’m doing this right now, but here we go.
So, the PlayStation 5. Yep, it’s been hanging around for a while now. Feels like every other day, there’s a new game dropping — and they range from little indie gems crafted by like, three folks in a basement, to those big AAA titles that are like, “Hey, buy a PS5 just for me!” Meanwhile, the good ol’ PS4 is still kicking. I guess some folks just aren’t ready to say goodbye yet. Totally get that, by the way. Change is hard—ask anyone who’s tried switching coffee brands.
Now, speaking of change, what’s next in our gaming calendar? Which games are sneaking onto shelves next? 2025 seems like it’s gearing up to be quite the year, but I’m rambling—let’s just dive into some titles.
I updated some stuff on June 5, 2025. Among the fresh faces are things like Maximum Football and Dustwind: Resistance. Do I know them? Not really, but they sure sound intense. There are titles like Vessels of Decay—sounds creepy, right? It makes me think of old, dusty shipwrecks or something… Anyway, I’m getting sidetracked. Then there’s Poppy Playtime – Chapter 4. I can’t be the only one curious about how far they’ll stretch that series.
Moving into June 2025—hold on, did I mention June already? Yeah, I did. Whatever, moving on. Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is like the star of the month. Everyone loves Hideo Kojima, right? That guy’s a genius or a madman or both. The first game was… well, let’s just say it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Some folks got it, some didn’t—kind of like avocado toast.
Other June newbies include another entry in the FNAF series—Secrets of the Mimic or something. Creepy stuff. Nightdive Studio is giving System Shock 2 another polish.
And in some scattered releases: Rise of Industry 2 and even a Tour de France game dropping June 5th, if you’re into cycling. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I cycled, but it sounds exhausting.
While we’re here—yeah, you’re not getting rid of me yet—July’s looking pretty wild. There’s EA Sports College Football 26 coming back. Who knew people loved college football so much? And Tony Hawk’s back with Pro Skater 3 + 4. Maybe I can finally learn to do a kickflip in real life—nah, probably not.
Fast forward to August-ish: Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater looks like it’s going to dominate. Remakes are all the rage these days. Konami’s really banking on nostalgia, huh? Madden NFL 26 is also on the table, but you knew that already, right?
September’s sort of murky, but there are whispers of Borderlands 4 and Silent Hill making waves. Spooky town, here we come.
October’s got Ghost of Yotei, which is apparently a big deal—might overshadow other releases like The Dark Pictures Anthology. But hey, if horror is your jam, you’ll want to keep an eye out.
Once we hit late 2025 and beyond, things get vague and mysterious. The likes of Grand Theft Auto 6 and a slew of others tease us from the horizon. Can we get there already? Stay tuned, because honestly, who knows what’s coming next?
Phew, that’s a lot of games. Hope this was helpful—or at least a bit entertaining. Where was I again? Oh, right, I was just finishing up…
