Hey! So, here we go: ININ, Tozai Games, Irem, and Strictly Limited Games are all set to drop IREM Collection Volume 3 on consoles. Digital and physical. Yeah, you know, the old-school kind you can actually hold. Get hyped!
Right, so check this: We’ve got three amazing arcade classics bundled together – Mr. Heli, Mystic Riders, and Dragon Breed. Anyone else feeling a bit nostalgic, or is it just me? These games, they’re like a trip back to the arcades with all the magic, machines, and a whole lotta mayhem.
Starting with Mr. Heli. I mean, ever flew a helicopter with legs? Sounds bonkers, doesn’t it? This chopper shoots everything in sight, kinda like me trying to get through Monday meetings. And those stages? They’re more like mazes. Find the hidden paths, mine those crystals… it’s like treasure hunting, but you know, with a helicopter.
Then we have Mystic Riders. So here you’re basically a wizard on a broomstick. Brooms – not just for sweeping, right? Battle sky turtles (yeah, that’s a thing) and flaming demons. Oh, and there’s a co-op feature too. Play as Mark the wizard or Zeal the witch. I dunno, maybe you’ll fight over who gets the broom first.
Okay, next up – Dragon Breed. This one’s wild. You’re riding a dragon named Bahamoot. Dive into battle, torch the enemies. It reminds me of my last camping trip, but with more dragons and less marshmallows.
I know, I know… where was I? Right, the features! Each game has both arcade and console options, with English and Japanese versions. Some techie stuff too – quick save/load, controller tweaks, and rewind. Felt like I was rewinding my life watching old tapes. Plus, worldwide leaderboards. Time to show off, eh?
Almost forgot – watch out for a review on PS4Blog.net. Stick around, it should be a good one. Anyway, have fun and enjoy this nostalgic ride. And now I’m off to dig out my old arcade scores. Well, if I can find them.
