Facepunch Studios is yanking it off PS4 and Xbox One stores by May 29, 2025. Yeah, I know — kind of a bummer for the current-gen crowd. But on the flip side, they’re amping it up for PS5 and Xbox Series. Fancy, right?
They’re also planning some kind of epic send-off, final wipe thing in October. No clue what that’s about exactly, but it sounds kinda nostalgic and like, end-of-an-era vibes, you know?
Now, not gonna lie, people have feelings about this. Some folks are a bit peeved because, well, who’s excited about forking out cash for another console? But hey, those stoked for the new-gen won’t have those “why’s this game lagging?” moments anymore. So maybe that’s worth it?
