‘Bridge Constructor’ Launches XR Edition for Quest on December 12th

Exciting news for engineering enthusiasts as a well-loved puzzle sandbox makes its way to Quest this week, serving up a host of bridge-building tasks in both virtual and mixed reality on the Quest platform.

Originally, Bridge Constructor Studio was slated to hit shelves last week. It promised a thrilling experience of bridge-building simulations in VR, allowing creators to build, test, and tweak their constructs using the sophisticated mixed reality features of the Quest 3. Although it faced a slight delay, the anticipation only adds to the excitement.

Launching now on December 12th, Bridge Constructor Studio presents an engaging campaign with 70 unique puzzles. Players are challenged with the task of transporting various vehicles from one side to another, using diverse construction materials like wood, steel, cables, concrete pillars, and roadways to engineer their solutions.

Unlike past versions on traditional platforms—or even its main competitor, Poly Bridge—the XR version does away with budget constraints and material limits by default. However, if you’re feeling competitive, you can activate these limitations to earn what the studio describes as a “special award.”

Adding even more creativity into the mix, Bridge Constructor Studio features a Scenario Creation Mode. This option invites players to design and play their own unique bridge-building scenarios, with the ability to save up to 40 customized levels to their profiles.

It’s worth noting that Bridge Constructor Studio was crafted by ClockStone STUDIO—the creative minds behind both the flatscreen and XR versions of LEGO Bricktales (2023). They’ve been in the bridge simulation game since 2011, with Bridge Constructor being their flagship series.
