Sure thing. Let’s dive into this chaos.

So here’s the deal with Last Epoch. I mean, who doesn’t love a game with time travel and dungeon crawling? Toss in character customization, and you got me hooked, right? Anyway, they’re doing this wild thing with minions. Yeah, minions—not the yellow ones. In Season 3, we’re going to have something called Assassinate mode. Kind of dramatic, huh? But it’s not just for flair. These little guys (or gals?) will start targeting bad guys from a distance, like they’re on some sort of hit list. Rarer enemies and bosses beware!
Anyway, back to reality—there’s this Protect mode where minions, like loyal puppies, stick close to you. Handy if you’re feeling a bit vulnerable, I guess. And there’s this cool way to know what’s what: Look at the icon next to your minion’s portrait. Swords mean they’re in for the kill, while a shield means they’re guarding you. Clever, right? I wouldn’t have thought of it.
Oh, and speaking of clever, the game’s all about improving how minions pick their targets—like, no more running around confused in battle. Thank goodness! It’s annoying when they dart around like they’ve had too much coffee.
Now, where was I? Ah, the minions aren’t the only ones getting a makeover. The Beastmaster’s getting some love, too. Raptors, Scorpions, Bears—sounds like I’m reading a weird fantasy list, but no, it’s just your new buddies in the game. They’re getting new nodes or whatever that means—something technical, I’m sure.
And, oh boy, they finally listened to players—cosmetics in Offline Mode! Who doesn’t want to look fabulous while playing alone? Finally, we can play dress-up without needing to be online. Hooray for vanity!
Season 3 kicks off August 21. Grab your calendar and mark it—unless you’re one of those people who just wing everything. They’re also tweaking shopping in the game—filters and tokens and whatnot. Sounds like they’re trying to make it less painful to shop. Maybe I could learn something from them…
So, there you have it. Lots of tweaks and tricks up Eleventh Hour Games’ sleeve, aiming to make our gaming lives a tad bit smoother. Or at least, keep us entertained for another season. Who knows what they’ll think of next.
