Explosive Tips & Tricks: A Guide

Blow It Up, crafted by Brain Seal Ltd, is a smashing physics-based destruction game that marries the explosive excitement of classics like Angry Birds with an advanced physics engine, creating a captivating puzzle adventure. Set in the chaotic land of Boomtopia, where strategic destruction is your primary goal, you’re tasked with rescuing your bomb friends from scheming villains. With a lineup of seven distinct bombs, each packing its own set of strengths, weaknesses, and special abilities, you’ll need to strategize smartly to conquer more than 70 challenging levels.

To ensure every explosion hits its mark, we’ve assembled this guide detailing your explosive allies and offering key tips and tricks. Harness their full destructive potential, unleash mayhem, and reclaim Boomtopia!

Navigating each level isn’t just about blowing things up; it’s a strategic puzzle. You need to pinpoint a structure’s weak spots to maximize damage. Launch from your launchpad to wipe out foes, blow up the presents, and ideally snag gold by finishing with an extra shot. Run out of explosives but clear the presents? That snags you a silver. Simply finishing what you started earns a bronze.

For precise impact, take aim using your launchpad and trigger each bomb’s special ability in mid-air at the ideal moment. Each bomb offers unique powers, so let’s delve into their specifics:

First up is Dashy, known for its versatility. When you activate it mid-flight, Dashy rockets in a straight line, traveling in the direction it was already moving. This makes it ideal for reaching elusive targets, tidying up what’s left, or hitting a structure’s weak point. Its blast isn’t the strongest, meaning Dashy’s best used for swift and precise strikes rather than combating dense groups of enemies.

Then there’s Diggy, a bomb that plunges straight down once it’s triggered, making it perfect for precision hits below. Ideal for hitting exact targets or enemies on the lower floors with pinpoint accuracy, Diggy creates significant impact where it lands. Its single, focused explosion won’t work well against dispersed targets but is unmatched when you need a direct hit.

Gunny is next, firing off two small explosions with its dual handguns, making it great for breaking through structures. It’s best used against targets lined up in a path or when you need to exploit a building’s structural weaknesses for maximum damage.

Jetty takes a different approach, flying horizontally and dropping mini-bombs before it plummets. It’s perfect for hitting multiple targets that line up horizontally or for clearing large sections, thanks to its wide-reaching attack pattern.

Blasty delivers precise destruction. This remote bomb goes off immediately when you say so, perfect for close targets or awkward spots other bombs might trigger prematurely. Its controlled blasts are invaluable for creative solutions.

For tackling multiple targets at once, Chainy & Linky work together. These two are linked but break free when activated, each seeking a separate endpoint. Their coordinated chaos allows for unique strategies, paving their way through different areas at once.

Finally, Puffy packs a punch with a blast that scatters its shrapnel for maximum impact in confined spaces. Whether you’re dealing with tightly packed targets or need to clear debris, Puffy’s intricate explosion pattern ensures any remaining foes meet their end.

With these bombs at your disposal, the secret sauce is pairing them perfectly with each challenge. Whether you go for precision, sweeping destruction, or a mix, there’s a bomb to suit your gaming style and the task at hand. As you experiment more, you’ll find clever ways to combine their abilities for perfect explosions. Dive into Boomtopia, embrace the chaos, and remember, it’s all about making things go boom!

Blow It Up is now playable on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

The game tells the gripping tale of an alien invasion sweeping through Boomtopia, a once-peaceful place now overrun by mysterious beings pilfering its resources. As your friends are captured, you’ll gear up and rise against these foes. In a world of chaos, the question is—can you thrive amidst the mayhem and save your captured friends?

Features include:
– Seven unique bombs to topple enemies.
– Advanced physics that ensures every block behaves realistically.
– Immersive adventures in a world begging to be explored.
– More than 70 levels of explosive fun.
– The ultimate fireworks display complete with TNT and confetti!

Blow It Up delivers the ultimate demolition thrill!
