At this year’s SXSW, gaming mastermind Hideo Kojima hit the stage with some special guests to share exciting updates about Kojima Productions’ highly anticipated title, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. One of the biggest reveals was the game’s official release date, set for June 26, 2025. Attendees got the first glimpse of a pre-order trailer, personally directed by Kojima, to celebrate this announcement. The pre-orders go live on March 17, and you can check out the trailer below.

Fans can look forward to several editions of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach when it finally launches. Among these is the standout Collector’s Edition, which will be available through selected global retailers and directly from PlayStation.

The standard digital version, priced at $69.99 USD, €79.99, ¥8,980 JPY, offers the game and a set of pre-order bonuses that mirror those of the Deluxe Edition.

In addition, Kojima Productions announced a special concert tour named the "Stranding Harmony" Concert Series. This global tour, showcasing a full orchestra playing music from the Death Stranding series, kicks off on November 8, 2025.
