Survival romp Dysmantle — yeah, it’s kinda taking the gaming world by storm. Over two million copies gone, just like that. Wild, right? Anyway, so the folks over at 10tons spilled the beans about hitting this massive number. Apparently, it took ’em over 40 months since they dropped the big 1.0 version in November 2021. Before that, it was lurking in Early Access for a year. So, you’ve got it on literally everything: PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, iOS, Android. Whatever your jam is.
But — and this bugs me — they didn’t say how many units went out for each platform. Like, give us the deets, right?
Oh, here’s a cool bit: to mark this epic achievement, they’re gonna roll out a physical version of Dysmantle for PS5 and Switch. Pretty neat for collectors, I guess?
Sampo Töyssy, one of the top dogs at 10tons, jumped in and said something sweet about the fans. Major love for hitting the 2 million mark, yadda yadda. They’re popping out the new edition on June 27th — but here’s the kicker — they wanted to bring this to the US too. Surprise, surprise, something went awry. So, US folks gotta wait. Bummer, huh? Töyssy’s all, “Hope ya’ll who want it can snag one. Big thanks for sticking with us.”
