VR Parkour Platformer Pixel Arcade Launches on Quest Today

Crafted by CJG Studio, Pixel Arcade throws players into a vibrant VR parkour experience. Your mission? Master the art of flinging yourself through intricate neon landscapes and climbing the ranks on a global leaderboard. It’s not just straightforward jumping; you’ll also need to navigate around obstacles such as lasers and bounce pads that can swiftly turn your well-thought-out run into a chaotic mess.

The game offers ten unique levels, each presenting its own set of complex spatial puzzles that will challenge your agility and strategy. As you progress, checkpoints allow you to save your hard-earned progress, giving you a fighting chance in these pixelated gauntlets.

Pixel Arcade takes inspiration from CJG Studio’s earlier work, Pixel Arcade Legacy, which was released back in 2016. Just like its predecessor, it immerses players in colorful pixelated worlds, complete with strategically placed checkpoints to aid your journey. However, this latest installment aims to enhance the experience with improved visuals and brand-new environments for players to conquer.

Although the game doesn’t feature multiplayer right out of the gate, CJG Studio promises that this will be added in future updates. Their plans for the game also include seasonal content updates to keep things fresh and exciting.

Initially released on Steam’s Early Access, Pixel Arcade is now officially available on Quest. For those anticipating a broader release, the game’s trailer hints that a PlayStation VR2 version is on the horizon.
